Yes, I am still BEHIND, but I am plugging away here! I am trying to get things ready for when I DO decide to go to my classroom. Where is my Summer going...BOOOOO!?!?! :-(
The first item I created are some leveled library labels. You can download your FREE copy by visiting my TpT store.
Now onto LABELS GALORE! :-) I started out thinking that I was just going to create a few labels. Well, a few turned into some, then some turned a lot, then a lot turned into holy schnikies....almost 80 pages later....I am done! Whew! I tried to include a label for EVERYTHING! I also wanted to provide you with different sizes! I PROMISE I will take pictures as soon as I go into my room and get it all set up! You can get this packet by clicking the image below. I hope you like it!
Included are labels that you can attach to any container. I use these from Really Good Stuff. There are over 60 premade labels. You can attach the labels to the basket by using a cute ribbon.
I LOVE these containers. I got mine from Target last year. I have seen them this year also. I bought one in pink, blue and green! These labels will fit these. I wanted bigger drawers for assessments (will keep my binders in there and my assessment kits). Also, leveled readers and ideas by level.
I loooooove these 3 drawer containers! Right now, I use them for student's extra supplies. However, I think that I am going to move towards community supplies this year. I still haven't quit decided yet!? Anywho...these labels will fit these drawers. I have seen some classrooms use these for book boxes. You could also use them for individual work that your kiddos will need during small groups. For example, their word lists, guided writing journals, writing samples, assessments that you need to complete, really anything! :-) I also have some premade labels for supplies that I will keep in my small group area.
I used to keep a folder for my small groups (Debbie Diller style), but I am going to try this! You label a clothes pin with each student's name and simply clip it.
I just uploaded my Guided Reading For Pre-A and Emergent Readers (Working with Names and Letters) late last night. I have it on sale right now for 50% off....only until 5:00 TODAY!
It has several activities! You can have students work with their names in your guided reading groups by: name puzzles, making names, and rainbow writing. It also has some activities for working with letters: matching letters, matching letters to ABC chart, matching upper and lower case letters, sorting letters, naming letters, naming words that begin with a letter, naming the letter that begins that word, and finding the letter that makes that sound.
Here are a few images from the pack!
